Connecting with the core idea behind the project and uncovering the story, intention, and feeling behind it.
Understanding the Vision is the foundation of my entire process. Before any design work begins, I take time to understand what the project truly represents — not just what it needs to look like, but why it exists and what feeling it should carry. This stage is personal and intuitive. You share your ideas, references, inspirations, and the emotions you want the final piece to evoke. I listen closely, ask thoughtful questions, and try to understand the deeper intention behind the project.
This step is where I learn the tone, the audience, the purpose, and the message you want to communicate. It’s also where I identify any practical requirements: formats, constraints, deadlines, or brand elements that need to be considered. Nothing is rushed. The goal is to build a clear, shared understanding of what we’re creating and why.
By the end of this stage, the project has a defined direction rooted in clarity and authenticity. It sets the emotional and strategic foundation for every decision that follows, ensuring the work feels intentional from the very beginning.
